Kayla attended her first Soar and Summit Retreat and from there was hooked!

Kayla will be offering events for others to join near and in the Valley area of Alaska!

Maddy is originally from Raleigh, North Carolina. She moved up to Fairbanks last summer for work and brought a few suitcases and her black lab, Hank. It was a little intimidating moving to a new place, but she found confidence exploring outside!

Since moving to Fairbanks, she’s picked up another dog (Bear) from the Golden Retriever Rescue, started pursuing her private pilot’s license, and taken up cross country skiing. She’s also a lawyer.

She can’t wait to meet you all and spread the excitement about exploring near the Fairbanks area of Alaska!

Meet Faith. A health coach and small business owner and she’s working on her personal training certification, as well as her masters in health and wellness coaching. Her little family consists of her husband, herself, and their two pups. They originally came to Alaska for her husbands’ work and had no intention on becoming residents. However, they have truly fallen in love with not only the Alaskan outdoors but also the people. Faith loves the community that they are a part of and want to help make the activities she loves accessible to more people.

She loves being outside, hiking, biking, and xc skiing are her go to activities.

Hi I’m Jess!

I'm 31 and I grew up between Michigan and bush Alaska! I've lived in Michigan, Hawaii, Oregon, and Alaska. And as much fun as I've had traveling the states, Alaska will always have my heart! I wanted to become a Soar and Summit ambassador so i can share insights and experiences in our beautiful community and to connect with like minded, outdoorsy people!

I am a mother of two beautiful girls, and wife to my best friend! As a family we love to focus of sustainable homegrown, hunted, raised, and foraged foods! I love raising my girls outside and we enjoy hiking especially. I look forward to offering a variety of artistic events and community meetups! I can't wait to meet more rad Alaskans that like to get outdoors and have fun!

My name is Liz. I’m born and raised here in Alaska. I have two kids. 6 (almost 7) and 9. My husband is also a life-long Alaskan. He’s a captain at Anchorage Fire Dept. We been together almost 16 years and now nestled in Girdwood.

I received my Bachelor of Arts at University of Alaska Anchorage in 2007 and I’ve grown my art career ever since with emphasis in painting.

Our family tries to squeeze as much time in the outdoors.

During the winter- we spend a lot of time at Alyeska and snowmachining with the kiddos and when we get the opportunity to sneak away, we love to snowboard in the backcountry.

I also love to plein-air paint, forage, garden and hike!
